Dapto shopping mall entailed the construction of 30,000m2 of post tensioned slabs in the refurbishment and extension of the existing shopping mall on the outskirts of Wollongong. The programme for the works was approximately 20 weeks. The design component was completed in less than 10 weeks.
The structure utilised a mixture of traditional and sacrificial formwork during construction.
