Accounts Clerk

An opportunity has arisen for an accountant to join the Finance team in our Sydney Office.

The position exists to support the finance & administration functions of the business. The primary function of the role is management accounting based but as in any business administrative duties are also required.

Reporting to the NSW accountant, your new role will be focused on:

  • Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable for the business
  • Assisting with progress claims & liaising with external contract administrators
  • Assisting with weekly site payroll for NSW – 100 employees
  • General ledger reconciliations
  • Assisting with management accounts preparation/ KPI Reporting & Analysis
  • Business systems and process development
  • Assisting with stock-take coordination at our NSW Store
  • Ad hoc office administration tasks

 To be successful for this role, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance
  • Organised, have good attention to detail and excellent communication skills
  • Advanced IT skills preferred
  • Competent analysis skills required
  • Minimum of 1-3 years commercial experience (post-graduation)
  • Ideally, you will have started your CPA or CA program
  • Construction experience preferred
